CourtScore is a racket-sports scorekeeper for iPhone, iPad, Android, Apple Watch, Wear OS, Garmin, and the web. If you sign in, we store the account and match data needed to sync across your devices. Guest play stays on your device. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to the CourtScore mobile apps (iOS and Android), Apple Watch, Wear OS, and Garmin Connect IQ companions, and the website at court-score.com. The service is operated through our production API at api.court-score.com.
2. Information we collect
When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive an account identifier, name, and email address so we can create or recognize your CourtScore account. You may add a nickname, first name, last name, and profile icon. If you use friends, tournaments, or signed-in match history, we store that content on our servers, including match scores, tournament brackets, friend relationships, career statistics, and head-to-head records. If you allow notifications, we store a device push token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) so we can send friend, live-match, and tournament alerts. We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, microphone audio, or advertising IDs.
3. Guest (offline) play
You can use the iOS and Android apps without an account. In guest mode, match history and settings stay on your device and are not sent to our servers. Uninstalling the app deletes that local data.
4. How we use information
We use this information to run your account, sync matches and tournaments, show friends, profiles, and career stats, send the notifications you opted into, and keep watch scoring available during a match. We do not use your data for advertising, tracking across other companies’ apps or websites, or selling to third parties.
5. Third-party services
Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In authenticate you (see Apple’s and Google’s privacy policies). Firebase Cloud Messaging delivers push notifications. Garmin Connect IQ Mobile talks to a paired Garmin watch for live scoring. Our website is hosted on Cloudflare; the API and database run on infrastructure we operate (currently Google Cloud). These providers process data only to provide their service to us.
6. Health, watches, and Garmin
On Apple Watch, CourtScore may start an Apple HealthKit workout session while you score a match so the score interface stays on your wrist during play. We do not read your health records, heart rate, or medical history, and we do not use HealthKit data for advertising, marketing, or data mining. Workout session data stays in Apple Health on your devices unless you choose to share Health data elsewhere. On Garmin, Bluetooth and the Connect IQ Mobile SDK send only live score commands (point / undo) between your phone and watch. We do not read Garmin health, GPS, or fitness history.
7. Retention and deletion
Signed-in data is kept while your account is active. You can delete individual matches in the app. To permanently delete your account and server-side data (profile, matches you created, tournaments you organized, friends, and device tokens), use Delete account on your Profile page. Guest data is removed when you delete it in the app or uninstall.
8. Children
CourtScore is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Security
We use HTTPS, account tokens, and standard cloud access controls. No method of transmission is completely secure. Do not share your Apple or Google account if you want to keep your CourtScore data private.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top will change, and the current version will always be published at court-score.com/privacy.
11. Contact
Questions about privacy can be sent to burak.business.ai@gmail.com. You can also use our Support.
